July 2008 - There are some 439 nuclear power reactors operating in 30 countries plus Taiwan, with a combined capacity of about 370 GW.
Only 34 power reactors are currently being constructed in 11 countries, notably China, South Korea, Japan and Russia.
Public Relations by Nuclear's lobby give the impression that hundreds of new Nuclear Power Reactors are under construction at the moment and for the years to come.
Below you find the exact list of constructions and projects.
The majority of the projects are in:
China: 15 Nuclear Power reactors
India: 6 Nuclear Power reactors
Russia: 9 Nuclear Power reactors
Korea: 4 Nuclear Power reactors
